A Frankenthal Porcelain Snuff Box c.1760
A Rare Frankenthal Porcelain Snuff Box c.1760-70, gild metal mounted, relief-moulded flower decoration, each side with a reserved scrollwork cartuche, finely painted with horbur scenes in polichrome enamels, inside the cover with a scene, depicting cherubs playing with a lion, the box interior gilt. Dimensions: 8.5 cm x 6 cm x 5.5 cm. Condition: two hairline cracks. Unmarked.
