.A Lowestoft porcelain tea bowl and saucer c.1790, soft-paste porcelain body, fluted with a wavy edge, hand-painted on the rim with sprigs of flowers in pink and green on a festoon of turquoise-blue ribbons. Stars and a scalloped ornament in gold, gilded rim. Dimensions: tea bowl: 8.2 cm diam x 5 cm high, saucer: 13 cm diam. Condition: a tiny nibble on the rim of the bowl. Unmarked.
