Four Minton Porcelain Botanical Plates, Painted Orchids c.1874

A set of four Minton dessert (botanical) plates, bone china body, the centre exquisitely painted with Orchids, the border decorated with fine raised gilding. Dimensions: 24 cm diam. Excellent Condition (one plate with some crazing on the glaze. Impressed Marks: "Mintons", cyphers "A" (April) or "E"( May) and Arrow c.1874, pattern G1091 4 painted in red.
